Shirt sizing advice pls 18:16 - Nov 21 with 635 views

I've had a quick look through old threads but couldn't find an answer, although no doubt there is one somewhere. I'm buying a kit for my son for Xmas and wasn't sure what size to go for.

He's 14 and nearly 6ft but he's also rake thin. I think we're talking adult sizes, but S or M?

If it’s any help I’m 5’10 and slim and the small fits well. I initially bought the medium but found it was too long and too wafty and swapped for a small because I prefer a slimmer fit. Depends how your son likes to wear a shirt I guess. If he prefers a looser fit then maybe the medium.

Hes in a medium shirt but he wears layers underneath his so needs room in it. He wears it in the summer with no under layers and it still fits well. I always think its better to have something slightly too big than too small

I take an XL in all t shirts etc. But Town shirts it's an XXL.
My advice is if in doubt get one size up.
Also allows for a little growth.
