Seeing Furlong's overlapping runs with Egeli yesterday got me reminiscing about Donacien doing this back in the promotion seasons.
Could be interesting to see how this works with Burns when he gets back into the team. I felt that, after Donacien left the RB role, the RB/RM interplay was something sorely missing from our play when Clarke was playing RB. |  |

Interesting, I think most see him as a very defensive RB.
I think he's pretty limited going forward and doesn't really help out the RW that much apart from the occasional overlapping run.

I was pondering that myself.
The only way I can see him getting sustained game time at the moment, is if Walle Egeli gets moved to the 10 role, as has been hinted at, and Wes ends up sharing the wide right berth with McAteer. | |

I think he has done okay, but I don't see any Donacien/burns like vibes or understanding with SWE. Don't seem on the same wavelength. Certainly if 3 or 4 good overlaps are ignored, you can't expect a 5th to happen. | | | |
