One of our problems in the prem was our very obvious lack of physicality. Felt we got bullied off the ball too many times tonight. Kipre and Furlong are big units, Azor is strong for his size. But we still look soft at times. Philogene and Clarke obviously fragile and always will be. But Nunez and Egeli aren’t small yet too easily knocked off the ball. Toughen up lads ffs

I think we lack pace personally.
Clarke Jaden Egeli Mcateer are all not very fast. Placheta who came on for Oxford is rapid and we saw that speed can kill. We just don’t have that anywhere in the squad. It’s only Leif and Dara who I’d say are fast.
Ashton spoke about recruiting a different sort of player in the summer in relation to physicality. I don’t think he’s done that well enough if I’m honest. As you say I think we are a soft team. |  |

For all our expensive wingers we never put the fear of life into bit part championship full backs, Now, Omari done that and often.
Sure we might cut inside and let one fly (mostly it’s blocked, or sometimes Phiogene puts it top bins) but more often than not it just slows it all down.
