...I just saw a referee actually give a free kick for a CB going through Ivan Azon!

I thought that was against the rules.

Ivan very good again today. First choice now for me, clearly.

Azon hasn't helped himself by going down too easily in the past (which then makes the ref less likely to give them). Last game's better performance from Azon coincided with him not going down easily at all. That is no surprise to me.

Bamford has built himself a reputation that will have made the referee's (correct) decision today easier to make than if he had never thrown himself over at all.
