So pleased for Azon… 17:42 - Mar 14 with 829 viewsunstableblue

He actually did really well on that first gilt edged chance, great footwork in what was a lovely move, yes he has to hit the goal.

But he kept going and he finished Johnson’s excellent cross so well

I actually thought Hirst was OK, but the ref wasn’t giving him fouls that his play deserved

Azon has been improving and he's a good player. Really needs to work on his finishing but that's 3 in 7 games now, which isn't exactly scintillating but is solid form for a striker so he's getting better in that department as well. Hirst also has 3 goals over that 7 game stretch, so 6 in 7 between them which is a good return at the stage of the season where we need people to step up and win us points.

A couple of really good finishes from Egeli in that time too, a lot more for him to do outside of the goals but every small thing helps at this stage of the season.

Either Hirst or Azon seem to score every game now, which is very encouraging.

Egeli has had a knack of scoring important goals for us. He's still raw and has a lot of improving to do but he's made some key contributions for us.
