| Man City - 60pt deduction 10:16 - Mar 28 with 1078 views | BornDeleuze | So if the report that Man City are facing a 60pt deduction and hence relegation is true, then now might be a good time to get out of the Championship! It might save Spurs though. | | | | |

This is a terrible clickbait article, especially for a local press that knows many of its readers are anxious and waiting. "Depending on the outcome of the case, a variety of punishments have been mooted, with the latest suggestion being a 60-point deduction. Football finance specialist Kieran Maguire has previously indicated that Man City could be facing a points sanction ranging from 40 to 60 points should they be found guilty of numerous infractions in their 115-charge hearing." This para in no way means that kind of deduction is incoming. It simply says Maguire says "if..." then it would equate to that maximum reduction, which in no way means it is likely to happen. Though it would have to be well before the turn of the next century as I'm 71! | | | |
