We have won three promotions in four years, after 20-odd years of naff all. A lot of us don't remember the 2000 promotion and have watched a lot of rubbish at PR. Drink it in tonight, Town fans. That is all.

Just take a short(ish) trip back to 2019, then those seasons mired in League One mid table, looking on with envy, but a resignation that this is what we are now for eternity. Then, and even the very day after a cup knock out at Barrow, a new dawn. Not overnight, mid table League One in 22β, but we all bought into the seed that had been sown. Look at our stadium now, the training ground, the feeling. Soak it up this summer, and get behind the Team as we (re) take our seat at the top table.

You know, for a moment had forgotten about that. Two wins over those F.... To encompass all about today you only need go back a short time in recent history where we were in real danger of falling into League One (third league), can't recall if that was McCarthy's work or perhaps Lambert or Cook as I've done good to move on from it particularly after today. You had the great era at the start of the century with Burley and the 5th place EPL finish, came around again albeit to lesser extent when Royle was in place then completely went off radar once the latter left until the time McKenna came on board. That's 15 plus years away from the scene where we failed and stagnated and irrespective of what rival fans think or say it's great to be part of it once again and able to challenge.
