It's the end of the world as we know it 22:15 - Aug 13 with 1377 viewsPendejo

And I don't feel fine

Being a big fan of conspiracies I've long thought the actions of certain people (Trump, Putin, Johnson, Lambert, Cook etc) are those of people who know there won't be any consequences for them over their actions - like Phil Connors in Groundhog Day, thinking of it as a "Don't Look Up!" type situation (Musk & his Mars obsession = Pete Isherwell)

But, how many earthquakes have there been in quick succession?

Drought, wildfires, typhoons etc

Is it a case of don't look down? Do the despots know something we don't?

I have a holiday booked in September, hope it can wait til after that, and the Palace match... should I bother with Everton tickets?

Wildfires generally started by human activity bit of course the state / heat of the earth doesn't help. Would you believe this year is actually a lower average of wild fires worldwide (GWI).

There's a hell of a lot more to climate change than "just " endless heatwaves. A mistake many seem to make, not accusing you of that by the way!

Yeah, that stat is so weird. As someone pointed out, we’re noticing it because it’s happening in Europe and North America and not Asia and Africa which usually have more fires. With climate change, stronger storms and rising sea levels, earthquakes will become more common apparently, so, yay!
