Lads ( and lasses ) who actually are lucky enough to go to the football, you got 19:50 - Aug 19 with 1146 viewsLion

To make Portman Road a cauldron this season, make it like the roman colliseum, give it everything you have and leave everthing in the stands.
CLUB: show the 2 skippers.on the screen and hold them in the tunnel for 5 minutes, so the ground is in a frenzy when they come out, ala QPR game....lets see if the Sunderland players shrink like QPR playees did....i cant wait til Saturday, my God this week is dragging! UTT
ps i was thinking this before MA came out with similar comments, but he is right, players fed off it v QPR....

Ronan Coliseum. He used to front Boyzone didn't he?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

POST OF THE MONTH… time to fire up, own our role on 20:43 - Aug 19 with 952 viewsunstableblue

Good on you Lion, ignore the typo pedantry - it’s so TWTD

Cauldron, Coliseum… jeeze it needs to be a virtual HADES for the away players - a River Styx on the way to a beating.

Every pundit is writing Town off, 18th, 19th. Whatever!

Survival will be hard earnt - a 62, 78, 81 level of achievement. And my word the margins will be so fine. Sliding doors moments through the season - especially early in the campaign.

Last season Portman Road was well… cr@p. Fans lost their mojo. North Stand and Block A uncoordinated. No wall of noise.

Move on.

Remember that Liverpool home game - it was a cauldron it was a coliseum. With an inferior Ipswich team the crowd inspired a press that was relentless and we came close - to a win or a draw that would have changed the season.

WE NEED TO FIRE UP AGAIN - freak out the black cats.

If you leave that ground able to speak - you’ve failed yourself and you’ve failed the club.

If Maeda doesn’t step off the pitch and say to himself this support is better than Celtic Park - you’ve failed yourself, you’ve failed the club and you’ve failed your parents.

Let’s FECKIN GO - BLUUUEEEE ARMEEEEEEE

Your comment about being able to speak is so true.

At Union at the weekend, I learned that there are four unwritten rules of being a fan of FCUB, one of which is 'Heiserkeit is der Muskelkater der Unioner', which translates to hoarseness is the muscle-ache of the Union fans.

Not a prophet, or a stone-age man; just a mortal with potential of a superman.

Jeeze ZX you’ve just come with a post that not just challenges Lion for Post of the Month, but perhaps edges it. But the award has been made.

Now that is an unwritten rule indeed.

The Barnsleyesque “Don’t take me home” was that rule it in action Saturday.

I just hope Town fans can refind the mojo of the early Premier League games, of the double promotion vibe, and give the team and new manager something to just make a difference.

Still think somehow the Club should have got the BA section of the Cobbold back into the lower North, now was the perfect time I think, you'd see a massive difference from the off, think would have got the whole ground buzzing and engaged....

No idea how they'd do it without upsetting a lot of people though, this has been done to death I know that..
