![]() Friday, 6th Jun 2008 08:48 Midfielder David Norris is making good progress after undergoing heel surgery in late April. The former Plymouth Argyle man is set to start jogging next week ahead of the start of pre-season training on June 25th. Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "He is making good progress. A specialist saw David last week and he was very happy with the way things are going. "David has started his rehabilitation in earnest now, with bike work and swimming, and is scheduled to start light jogging next week. "We are monitoring him carefully, but if he continues to progress we are hopeful that he will start pre-season around the same time as the other players." Norris has been hampered by the heel problem since his £2 million move to Portman Road in January and was eventually forced out of action for the final six weeks of the season.
