Town have drawn Peterborough United away in the second round of the Carling Cup. The Blues will be at London Road in the week commencing 24th August.

The sides last met in the Carling Cup in August 2006 at the first round stage when the game ended 2-2 with Jason De Vos and Billy Clarke scoring for Town and Trevor Benjamin and Guy Branston for the Posh, who won the penalty shoot-out 4-2.

I think Roy will continue to be brave and should play a mostly younger team but maybe add 2 senior players (to cope with the potential derby aggression)depending on the weekend matches before & after this midweek fixture.
