Keane Will Look to Loan Market Friday, 4th Sep 2009 11:42 Town boss Roy Keane has confirmed he will be looking to add to his squad through the emergency loan window when it opens on Tuesday. Earlier today, the Blues were linked with a renewed move for long-time target Daryl Murphy from Keane’s old club Sunderland. The Town manager told the club site: "That's something we will look at. As much as you would prefer to have players who you know are going to be here for two or three years, the loan market has to be explored. "The big clubs might be considering loaning out some of their young players and we have done well in that respect with Jack Colback coming here, so it's something we are aware of and we have to keep our options open." Keane says he has no complaints at player trading continuing into the first month of the season: "I'm OK with the transfer window, some managers get upset with it, but it's part of the game now. "You spend a lot of time on the phone and there is wheeling and dealing going on. It's a busy time with so many deals in the balance but once the deadline passes, you know where you stand." Keane signed Sunderland duo Grant Leadbitter and Carlos Edwards on a permanent basis and Reading's Liam Rosenior on loan on the final day of the transfer window.
