Ed Upson and Reggie Lambe (pictured) scored for Town’s reserves as the Blues second string lost 5-2 to Chelsea in a friendly at the Premier League side’s Cobham training ground this afternoon.
Town included Owen Garvan, David Wright and Colin Healy in their line-up, while Joe Cole, Paulo Ferreira and Daniel Sturridge, who scored a hat-trick, were in the Chelsea side. Fabio Borini and Jeffrey Bruma netted the other Chelsea goals.

wonder how Garvan/David Wright got on - we were hardly going to beat Chelsea with the likes of Joe Cole etc playing

Assuming Lambe played in his customary left-mid position, and Wright in his customary right-back position, that implies that Lambe would have had to of got the better of Paulo Ferreira, while David Wright must have kept Joe Cole at bay. Very good! Was Gael Kakuta playing?

Re mattyblue We've not sorted the player profile pages yet and the dates of birth default to 1/1/70, which really ought to be changed.
