P!nk to Play Portman Road
P!nk to Play Portman Road
Tuesday, 3rd Nov 2009 08:50

Portman Road will stage its first concert since 2007 next summer when US star P!nk is in town on Tuesday 29th June.

P!nk is set to play at six venues across the country on her first ever stadium tour. The other venues are Bolton’s Reebok Stadium, Swansea’s Liberty Stadium, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, Glasgow’s Hampden Park and Alton Towers.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers were the last band to play at Portman Road, while Elton John, Neil Diamond, Elton John and REM have all performed there in the past. Earlier this year negotiations with the Eagles broke down over a concert planned for last summer.

Hopefully she's better in front of goal than Priskin.

I would wager she will be singing "Trouble" and "This used to be a funhouse but now it's full of evil clowns" - very apt. LOL.

Judging by yesterdays news we are truly in the red, today we're talking "Pink" how quickly things can change around.

It's all Keane's fault, ruddy women on the pitch! It's time we formed a coop and went round with a cocoa tin to raise funds to buy out this person who happens to have saved us from going down the tubes ahhhhhhhhhhhh

No thank you.
Would prefer The Prodigy or Foo Fighters at Portman Road.

UEFA81 - although I don't agree with your very negative posts on virtually every topic (although acknowledge you are entitled to your opinion), your post on this particular topic is somewhat witty!

Apparently, Carrow Road are still waiting for Glen Miller to get their "popular beat combo concert programme" started.
