The Royal Mint has issued a medal to commemorate the life of legendary former Town boss Sir Bobby Robson. Part of the funds raised will be given to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

The medal comes in two versions, one in silver limited to 7,500 and costing £39.99 and one struck in cupro-nickel costing £9.99 with 50,000 available.

A portrait of Robson is featured on one side of the medal while his clubs are listed on the other. The medals are available from the Royal Mint.

To be applauded, but only £2.50 from a selling price of £39.99 and 50p from a selling price of £9.99 going to the SBRF?

Seems extremely low to me and literally the Royal Mint must be making a mint!
