Walters Out for a Fortnight
Walters Out for a Fortnight

Skipper Jon Walters says he should be out for only a couple of weeks with the hamstring injury he sustained the FA Cup tie at Southampton on Saturday. A scan has revealed a small tear but nothing which is likely to keep the striker or midfielder out of action for too long.

Walters told the club site: "I had a scan at the start of the week and there's a small tear in the hamstring. It's not too bad and hopefully it will just be a couple of weeks."

Bugger. Hope you make a swift return, Jon.

In the meantime its up to the other players to step up to show we don't rely on one player.

Good news in a way - thought it might be longer. We certainly miss him, although we can't just rely on one player!

Well, we've got one player who's been playing there at times who could step in, Peters. Well, seems he could play in goal, don't know why we need to bring in any other keepers when we have Jaime Peters.......lol Anyway, Martin, Edwards, time for you guys to show your worth and justify your price tags because this surely has to be your chance, so take it. Having said that (and I hope that one or both of them hit some form) we will miss Walters, he's strong and makes a nuisance of himself so hurry up and get fit soon!!
