No Town Comment on Magilton Wrangle

Town have refused to comment on former boss Jim Magilton’s revelation earlier today that he and the club are set to go to court regarding the settlement of his contract.

A club spokesman told TWTD: “As a matter of policy we do not discuss ongoing employment matters concerning current or previous employees.”

Magilton was sacked by the Blues 11 months ago with his contract due to come to an end on June 30th this year.

I hope my club is an honest club!! - of course honesty is a rare commodity in modern britain, esp in the football world, but if he's owed the money then he should be paid. Of course I know nothing of the details so can't judge but I seem to recall George Burley had some trouble getting paid.. This is certainly an issue for the local press to report on.,, it's a matter of public interest and it's their job to look into such thing.so Mr Pickover, get picking it over!! I would like to know the truth of the matter..
