everybody is moaning at how badly we've done this season, but we are far away from the play-offs as we were at the end of last season, 8 points. We still have an outside chance of making them.

Just did it we finish 14th on 57 points. Palace to go down on 46 points, one behind Watford. Middlesboro edge out Cardiff for last play off spot.

We have some very winnable games left. I don't expect us to make the play offs, but after how this season as gone I'll be happy with a top half finish........With a view to win the league next season!!

Stop this playoff talk please. Just stupid. We are far from safe and not being relegated is the only aim worth thinking about right now.

I couldn't care less about comparing this season with last season or any other its a completely different league to what it was last year by 6 teams new teams for a start whether its better or worse there is no direct comparison to be made

phillymark-we are 8 points off the play-offs and 6 off the bottom 3. Whilst even I, one of the most optimistic of supporters, doubt whether we can make up the 8 points, if relegation is possible, so is a place in the play-offs.

i did it and we made a (rather generous) 9th. Palace went down and blackpool got in the playoffs!?. If we had a normal start to the season we would be flying now. Up next year. COYB.

the thing is, teams between us and play offs are likely to win a lot more games than teams below us, thats why they are below us so no it isnt just as likely, especially with the AMOUNT of teams between us and the play offs

I am pleased to see a more positive feel to the play off situation. When i predicted last week Town will finish in 5th on goal difference from Swansea and that we would play Nottingham Forest in the semis before marching onto Wembley for a wonderful May Bank Holiday extravaganza some thought I had been on the sherry !!! With Watford away on Tuesday ( 3 points) and Barnsley at home on Saturday ( another 3 points) by 10 to 5 we will be even closer to Dreamland.

Sussexblue - And Plymouth the following Tuesday. A further 3 points. Total points 53 only 1 point off today's 6th place.
