since i was born ( a bloody long time ago ) we've played in blue and white, home and away. why orange or black or any other colour come to that. and being dumb and having lived outside the uk for 20 yrs, i still don't know what the 3 stars are for?

I thought it was "If I had the wings of an eagle, if I had the arse of a cow..." but that was about 15 years ago and eagle may now be sparrow but I'm sure that it's cow not crow as the subject is "I" so crow is a bit silly.

traktorbojz, they have to have a different colour from blue & white for the away kit otherwise it would still clash with the home team (e.g imagine Town playing away to Blackburn (i know they are prem b4 someone points out!, it's just an example!) they have half blue, half white, so a Town shirt with mostly white would still clash. As far as I understand the 3 stars, stand for main honors that have been won in the history of the club, 1. Winning Championship, 2. Winning FA Cup, 3. Winning UEFA Cup. Hope this helps!

Surely a red and black vertical striped number (a la AC milan) would be brilliant! We had one some years ago (Fisons era) as a third kit I believe. Gorgeous it was with black shorts and socks.

Another version we could have is all white with Butcher blood stain! We'd look awesome.

Mine arrived this morning and it looks bloody brilliant.

Let's hope we get some football to do it justice next season.
