Colback Off On Premier League Debut
Sunday, 9th May 2010 18:25

Former loanee Jack Colback was sent off for two bookable offences on his Premier League debut for Sunderland as the Wearsiders lost 2-1 at Wolves on the final day of the season. The 20-year-old returned to the Black Cats earlier in the week after his season-long loan with the Blues.

The midfielder was introduced as a 77th minute sub and picked up his first caution for a foul on Ronald Zubar in the 84th minute and his second for a challenge on the same player deep in injury time.

Sunderland ended the game with nine men, Michael Turner having been sent off earlier on.

Colback is long gone - deal with it. Jordan Rhodes is not coming back either. Why would Colback want to come back to the Championship if he is a member of a Premier League squad?? Some of you lot are in cloud cuckoo land I think !!!
