Keane and Clegg Set to Face Shareholders
Keane and Clegg Set to Face Shareholders
Tuesday, 7th Dec 2010 09:31

Boss Roy Keane and chief executive Simon Clegg are likely to face some stiff questioning from shareholders at the PLC AGM which is being held in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite this evening. Around 3,000 supporters are shareholders in the PLC, which owns 12.5% of the club since Marcus Evans’s takeover in December 2007.

Although not obliged to be at the meeting, Keane attended last year and answered questions with the Blues then having won just one of 17 league games and at the bottom of the Championship.

Chief executive Simon Clegg was elected to the PLC board a year ago and is also set to be at tonight’s meeting, which will be run by David Sheepshanks, who remains the PLC’s chairman.

As part of this evening's formal business, shareholders will vote on re-appointing Sheepshanks and Richard Moore to the PLC board.

Town recently announced losses of £14 million in the financial year to June 2010.

Last season we started so badly 18pts.to now, this season 24pts to now, if we should lose sat. we would only be 3pts ahead this season. the only difference is we were on the up last season, as to this season we are in reverse.!!

'sad' and 'quite pathetic' - big boy talk from someone who struggles with punctuation, but rest assured, I'm still around.
As for being a 'Keane clone' my background is much closer to Clegg's.
I've probably been going to PR longer than most on this forum, although it is hard to judge you from you pic, as you may indeed be old enough to shave, and I'm likely to be there long after most if this level of 'support' is anything to go by.
BTW - how many of you anti's or is that aunty's took the trouble to speak to Clegg tonight on your big issue?

If Marcus Evans runs marcusevans as he is doing with ITFC, I don't see how his business will survive. Unless it is based on sticking his head in the sand, running dodgy hospitality events and not paying tax in the UK.

It's all very well supporting the manager, but owning a club has responsibilties. if you can avoid a car crash, you take action. If someone doesn't do something we could end being relegated, half our squad could leave and ME's investmemt will be worthless.
