Skipper Lambe and Bermuda Lose Monday, 24th Jan 2011 09:44
Reggie Lambe and Bermuda lost 2-1 to hosts Surinam in the final game of their CONCACAF U20 Championship second round qualifying group yesterday. The 19-year-old Town winger again skippered his side.
Bermuda needed to beat Surinam to top the group and qualify for the CONCACAF Championship in Guatemala in April, which also serve as qualification for the U20 World Cup in Colombia in the summer.
Lambe has previously won nine full caps, scoring four goals, in addition to games at U23 and U20 levels.

"Lambe", "Bermuda" and "lose" are fast becoming unfortunate collocates - this can do nothing for the lad's confidence. Next time Bermuda lose can we try "Lambe skippers Bermuda to non-win"? Must be worth a try... | | |
