![]() Tuesday, 7th Jun 2011 09:29 Jaime Peters, Márton Fülöp and Damien Delaney will be hoping to win caps this evening when their national sides are in action. Peters and Canada kick-off their CONCACAF Gold Cup group games against hosts the US in Detroit. The 24-year-old, who has been handed the number 20 shirt for the tournament, is likely to be amongst the subs as he looks to win his 27th full cap. Canada are subsequently in action against Guadeloupe on June 11th in Tampa and Panama on June 14th in Kansas City as they look to repeat the success of their 2000 squad, which included ex-Blues Craig Forrest and Jason De Vos. Fülöp, who has previously played for his national side 24 times, will be hoping to get the nod ahead of Bolton’s Adam Bogdan for what’s likely to be a quiet evening as Hungary face San Marino in a Euro 2012 qualifier away from home. Delaney will be looking to win his fifth Republic of Ireland cap from the bench having been left out of the starting line-up for their friendly against Italy in Belgium (Sky Sports One/HD1 7.30pm). Former Blues loanee Darren O’Dea is in the XI, while departing Town keeper Brian Murphy is set to be amongst the subs. Meanwhile, Connor Wickham has been handed the number 22 shirt by Stuart Pearce as England's U21s prepare to fly out to the European U21 Championship in Denmark tomorrow.
