Griffiths Makes First Senior Start
Griffiths Makes First Senior Start
Wednesday, 14th Sep 2011 09:33

On-loan midfielder Jamie Griffiths made his first the first start of his career last night as Plymouth Argyle fell to a 2-0 defeat at Barnet. The 19-year-old is with the Pilgrims for a month.

Griffiths has now made one start and one sub appearance during his time at Home Park to add to his single brief outing from the bench for the Blues in last season’s Carling Cup victory over Northampton.

The cash-strapped Pilgrims now sit bottom of the Football League on one point having lost their last seven games.

Fans from clubs across the country are rallying around the crisis club with their game against Macclesfield a week on Saturday having been declared Fans Reunited Day.

They ain't paid him for ages, so wouldn't be surprised.....all of you who moan about our club only have to look at Argyle in administration, to see where we could have ended up!!
