Taylor Undergoes Surgery Tuesday, 6th Nov 2012 14:42 Striker Paul Taylor has undergone the operation on his cracked bone in his foot which is expected to keep him out of action for the remainder of the season. The 25-year-old, who joined the Blues for £1.5 million from Peterborough in August, suffered the injury in the game against Wolves, only his third match for Town. Physio Matt Byard told the club site: “Paul has had a metal plate inserted to fix to injury in his mid-foot area. “He will be in a cast for six weeks and his total recovery is likely to take around six months. “You can never be totally accurate with a return to action on long-term injuries. It’s possible he could make the last few weeks of the season, but more realistically we are probably looking at Paul coming back fit and well for pre-season.” You can send get well wishes to the Blues frontman, which we’ll pass on to the club, via a Town Topic we set up on the site yesterday.
