West Ham Set to Recall Henderson Thursday, 10th Jan 2013 12:26 TWTD understands West Ham are set to recall keeper Stephen Henderson from his loan at Town prior to the final game of his spell away at Cardiff on Saturday. The Irishman’s three-month loan deal includes a 24-hour recall clause.
Henderson’s exit would see Scott Loach keep his place in the side for the trip to Wales, the former Watford man having made his first appearance under Mick McCarthy’s management at Aston Villa last week.
Blues boss McCarthy has previously said he’d like to keep Henderson at Portman Road beyond the end of his spell, while having misgivings about the inclusion of a recall clause, while the 24-year-old has said he’d been interested in remaining at Portman Road.

Wish Loach was judged by performance and not just cause he a fan. Still think we need another keeper to add compitition to the position as I dont see ALB pushing Loach for the number 1 shirt.

Rubbish aaaagggghhhh!!!!! All our players are crap. Why can't we get Messi and van Persie. Not good enough for our proud club. Etc Etc. McCarthy out blah blah blaaahhhhhhhh!!! On a serious note, Camp or Gilks would be ok. Needless to say everyone on here would be slagging them off soon anyway. In fact I suspect many of the people who post on this site would find something to criticise about LM or RvP anyway. It seems to be the Ipswich way.

here we go. the same people who a couple of weeks ago were actually when henderson was saying he wanted to stay were actually praising him are now coming out saying its good that hes going. while he made a couple of blunders early on in his loan he has proved to be a pretty good keeper in this spell. he may not be the best keeper around, & not necessarily one id want to be 1st choice, he is marginally better than loach. its all very well that loach has the passion for the club but that doesnt make him a great keepe, despite what some on here clearly think. while i would be more than happy for him to succeed i believe we need a new keeper. casanovcrow? hes a better keeper, can catch the ball and kick? who you been watching? hes not caught a cross since hes been here, and his kicking, like all our keepers in recent times is inconsistent to say the least. and cant believe there are still people who think he only had the 1 poor game against cardiff. hed been shaky all season, and had been poor in the previous game against wolves too. not saying it all his fault as im certain playing behind our defence at that time wasnt exactly confidence inspiring.

Wish he'd return. Better than Loach and more solid without a doubt. Some people are too sentimental. Loach being a Town fan doesn't mean he's a better goalkeeper than Henderson.
