I'd love a ticket if anyone can get me one! :-)

As some have suggested, it would be easier for those of us who don't know season ticket holders if the offers were more widely available ... but I'm not knocking it. It all eases the financial pain of an otherwise expensive day out!

Got 2 ticket's for the North Stand Upper. Great. Get to sit next to my season ticket holder mate. That seat is always empty. ( he must change his deodorant ) and me and my son fill 2 seat's that would otherwise be empty. I would LOVE to see every Town home game but I work Some Saturday's and my son is at Uni. So, a perfect opportunity for both of us.
When I have been this season I have to pay a whopping £30 to £35 for a seat. Cant afford that every home game. Earlier on here a season ticket holder ( "Paulc" ) said there's no incentive for the S.T. holder's. Oh yes there is. 1. Your're free to go to most home games as you don't work Sat's. 2. The cost of you season ticket divided by the home games mean's you get the seats at a discounted rate. 3. You get first choice of seats before the season start's.
If the progress continues under McCarthy ( currently 4th in the league since his appt ) then extra bum's on seats may, using "Paulc" parlance, incentivise new bum's to buy a season ticket.
By the way, the first 2 games I attended were both 0-3 home defeat's. THAT was a huge dis-incentive for me to go again ( the people next to me thought I was jinx!) However I forced my self to go again and we won 1-0 against Bolton, so I'm looking forward to hopefully a great game, a great result, a great crowd at a great price!!

The message is loud and clear! Lower the prices, and encourage the next generation and families etc.

Thanks to a board member me and my two boys will be going on Saturday and really looking forward to it. I work most Saturdays and the price is enough to put me and most fans off. I had a season ticket for years until about 5 years ago but even when I was a season ticket holder I don't remember match day prices being high. I think £20 an adult, £10 oap and students and a £5 for under 12s and we would get close to 25,000. And with Mick in charge next season and a couple of creative players the ground would be noisy and passionate. The team needs us so if anyone from the club is reading these comments from us supporters, have a bit of a rethink.

@meekreech - I could meet you outside the ground, there has to be something in it for you so how much would you charge for the ticket? Cheers.

Great promotion, not only son and grandson going, but 2 grandaughters. Could be lifelong IT fans, who knows. The 6 year old can't wait.

I can't see why so many people are complaining. Surely any offer to get more people into PR this weekend is a good thing, massive game!
