Taylor Should Be Fit for Start of Pre-Season Tuesday, 4th Jun 2013 17:27 Striker Paul Taylor has continued his rehabilitation from the foot injury which ended his 2012/13 in September during the summer and should be ready to join in with the rest of the squad when they start pre-season training in the final week of June. Taylor, who suffered the injury which eventually required surgery in only his third game after his move from Peterborough, has been working with fitness coach Andy Liddell and assistant physio Alex Chapman at Playford Road. Chapman told the club site: "Tayls has been at the training ground virtually every day, working on his fitness with Lids. “He’s been doing a lot of running and is kicking a ball as well, and hopefully he will be ready to join the rest of the lads for the start of pre-season.” Town's first friendly at Dublin club Shelbourne follows a week's training in Ireland. A full list of the friendlies announced so far can be found here. Meanwhile, Aaron Cresswell underwent laser eye surgery in Surrey earlier today, his girlfriend tweeting a photo of the left-back’s temporary new look.
