The Blues are finalising the details of a reserves friendly against Framlingham Town at their Badingham Road ground on Thursday 1st August (KO 7.30pm).

Youthful Town second string XIs previously took on the Castlemen in 2006, when they won 4-2, and 2007, when they ran out 11-1 victors.

You can find details of Town's other pre-season friendlies here.

11-1 in 2007, could we do even better this year?

Let chopra know just how unwanted he is and make him play games like this!

I hate it when people talk like that TrueBlue93, it feels dirsrespectful to the local sides when you say 'games like this'. These games are to show our local sides in a good light and Fram have some good facilities, they're not going to some kind of slum to play football, they should all be motivated to play these games and its a chance to impress MM and Tc if they're watching.

I remember when I was very young seeing Gus Uhlenbeek for the first time at a Fram-Ipswich match, who was probably one of my first 'favourite' players. Can't remember the score, but it was good fun!

It would be great to have a TWTD ex-files on Gus - according to his twitter he is now coaching U15s in Holland.

Edmunds5 - Completely agree. Total disrespect from TrueBlue93 shown there - "these games" as he calls them are more to help out the local teams to benefit from the money and reputation raised by a game such as this. I live in Fram myself and the sports club would be delighted and honoured to host a game against ITFC, regardless if it is just the youth team or reserves.

HennersITFC - i feel that saying i was showing total disrespect, is a very bold claim. I went to school in Fram, What you seem to be implying is that by saying "games like this" i meant the game was a waste of time! However, the point i was trying to make and that you seem incapable to comprehend is that this is not the game in which we should be fielding first team players. There will be no point in fielding our first team as it will not help to develop the fram team in any way. This is a game for our younger reserve players, players like marriot, hewitt and mings and that by playing chopra in this fixture may be the push he needs to remove him as a burden to this club

'TrueBlue93' No need to be disrespectful to Chopra either.. If he should play in Fram game, it shouldnt be an insult to him whatsoever

TrueBlue93 - you contradict yourself (and on many occasions don't use a capital "I" or a capital for names) so don't insult my intelligence. You say Chopra playing in this game will make him feel unwanted but then say that this is a game for Hewitt et al. Are they unwanted? I don't think so. I also never said that we should play our first team. Learn to read and write please!
