Shock Defeat for Edwards's Soca Warriors Saturday, 13th Jul 2013 10:21 Carlos Edwards’s Trinidad and Tobago suffered a shock 2-0 defeat to Haiti in their second group game at the Gold Cup in Miami overnight. Jean-Eudes Maurice netted the goals in the 16th and 53rd minutes. In order to qualify for the next stage, the table-propping Soca Warriors need to win their final game against group leaders Honduras in Houston on Monday and hope that results elsewhere go their way. Blues skipper Edwards, who played the full 90 minutes and won his 86th full cap, will join up with the Blues squad once they are eliminated.
