Young left-back David October has joined Skrill Conference North side Histon on loan. The 18-year-old, who signed a one-year professional deal in the summer, was with the Cambridgeshire club's academy prior to joining the Blues' youth set-up.

Histon manager Brian Page said: “I’ve known David for a few years now so I know what he’s about as a person and as a player.

"To be able to get a full-back of his ability back to the club is fantastic for us and he will be another really good addition to the squad."

October will be at the Glassworld Stadium until November 23rd but will also be able to play for Town's U21s.
