Marriott Set for Woking Debut
Tuesday, 12th Nov 2013 10:59

Striker Jack Marriott is set to make his debut for loan club Woking when they take on Dartford at the Kingfield Stadium tonight (KO 7.45pm). The 19-year-old is with the Skrill Premier club for a month.

Elsewhere, Town’s other on-loan player, left-back David October, will be in action for Histon in their Skrill North game against Oxford City at the Glassworld Stadium (KO 7.45pm).

October, 18, will be making his fifth appearance for the Stutes, having played the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Vauxhall Motors.

I live about 5 minutes from Wokings ground so it'll be good to take a look at Jack tonight.

I will be there tonight too as Woking is only down the road for me. Looking forward to seeing Jack in action.

Which stand will you be in wokingblue?

I'd love to see him go there and score left, right and centre. I'll be watching Jack at Grimsby on the 3rd December. Even though it's my home team, I still quietly hope to see him bag a few that night!

I too live near Woking and spoke last night at my local social club to the grandfather of a young lad who's trying to get into Woking's starting line-up (the lad that is, not the grandfather). He says that "if another ****ing loanee starts ahead of him, he's going to tell the manager he's off".

Woking have been quite poor this season and there are many unhappy bunnies. I hope Jack realises this.

The boy did well tonight. Put in a good shift with a goal and an assist. Awarded man of the match and looked sharp. I'm sure he'll score more at this level.
