Town and Preston Ball Number 30

Town and Preston will be ball number 30 in this afternoon’s draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup.

This draw is at 2pm live on ITV after the Nottingham Forest and West Ham United tie and is also shown on BT Sport.

The Blues are set for their first FA Cup replay since the 1-0 home victory against Chester City in January 2007 at Deepdale a week on Tuesday.

Fourth round ties will be played on the weekend of January 25th and 26th when the Blues are currently scheduled to face Reading at home in the Championship.

Depending on who we get drawn against will be the factor in what team we put out in the replay

Maybe I differ from most, but I always hope for an easy home tie so that we can progress in the competition. Home to Rochdale would be perfect.

Of course, getting past Preston will be a tough job and they must be the favourites as the home side.

What does it matter who we get, there's still a team called Preston North End in the way and we all know our recent record against lower league opposition!!!
