Town's away match with Blackburn Rovers is set to move after the Lancastrians reached the final of the Worthington Cup, scheduled to be played the day after the planned game with Town.

Rovers beat Sheffield Wednesday 6-3 on aggregate to reach their first final since 1960.

Town could now face nearly a month without a match if they fail to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup on Sunday. After the home match with Liverpool on February 9th Town's next scheduled League game is the Southampton match on March 2nd. If Town do beat Manchester City they will face a FA Cup fifth round tie on or around February 16th.
