Town Forced into Late Keeper Switch

Town have been forced into a late switch of keeper with Dean Gerken picking up a groin injury in the warm-up and Bartosz Bialkowski coming in for his Blues league debut.

Darren Ambrose takes up the vacant place on the bench with Town now having no sub keeper.

Blackpool: Lewis, Dunne, Clarke, Rentmeister, Daniels, McMahon, Lundstram, J Oriol, Delfouneso, Miller, Ranger. Subs: Parish, Zoko, Orlandi, Blackman, Mellis, E Oriol, Cywka.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Mings, Berra, Smith, Skuse, Hyam, Bishop, Hunt, McGoldrick, Murphy. Subs: Ambrose, Clarke, Anderson, Tabb, Henshall, Bajner, Sammon. Referee: Andy Haines (Tyne and Wear).

Oof. Talk about unsettling. That once settled back half of the field has gone a bit awry in the last few weeks, not through any fault of our own.

Never mind. Against this Blackpool side, fingers crossed Bialkowski isn't called into action too much!

While these are not the circumstances i would have wanted, Bartosz' chance is overdue IMO
