Galvin on Trial at Colchester

Development squad wideman Cory Galvin is on trial with Colchester United and is in action for their U21s in this afternoon’s home game against QPR.

Cork-born Galvin joined the Blues as a full-time academy scholar in the summer of 2012 and was handed another year last summer but has been in and out of the U21s side during 2014/15.

Haha, that's Omar Sowunmi behind him ! Omar is 6' 7" tall...the one man on Earth that Cory does NOT need to be standing in front of when the cameras are out...

...as Cory is, er, not tall...

...he is fanatically wholehearted, tho, and if willingness alone was the only virtue he would be in the first team.

I wish him the very best of luck. I believe that his twin, Evan, has been offered a contract at Burnley where he has been in their academy.
