Mildly of interest I suppose because at that time we probably won't even have finished the season in the top ten

Nice. Always good to have a positive comment.

A realistic target I'd say, albeit a resetting of targets

Seems to be the way on here with some wokingblue.
Why say something positive when you can find something negative (or stupid) to say?

JimmyJazz, why don't you do yourself a favour and pop down the A12 and start watching Colchester if we are that bad !

We are 1 point of 6th place and 5 points off the top. Yes, we are slipping back but that shouldn't detract from a great season we have had so far and I for one will be putting the play off dates in the diary as still confident of that at least !

I can't believe the negativity of some people. Only one point off the top 6 and 10 huge games to play. Give me this scenario anyday over relegation or mid table mediocrity.

Get right behind the team and we'll be fine! Come on Town!

Never missed a play off game and the dates are always in the diary.
Feeling good after Saturday- we didn't lose, could easily have won, Bishop is back, Parr gives us some marauding qualities, 6/7 points from the next 4 and we will be right in it.

I've enjoyed this season.

If we win the next 10 matches we can watch the play offs in order to see who will be joining us in the prem COYB

Isn't that the beauty of TWTD Forum???
Some say we'll finish top Two and some say we'll finish top TEN - and yet we (just about!) stay friends ! :)

Most say we'll finish top SIX but who knows - all we have to do for now is to hope, AND to be get behind the boys (AND the management) and shout our socks off for 90 minutes per game

Teams whose fans make the 12th man always do better - so please, STOP moaning and START singing ....

Trust me - you really will feel better for it , even if we do perhaps still fall short .... which hopefully we wont!

COME ON !!!!!!

Forum reflects life - some people have a glass always half full - many are glass half empty and a few set backs and they are down and out - room for everyone - We all want what is best and we all follow Town - we are all realists - this is not a GREAT team BUT we are in and about the play offs with 10 games to go and it is still in OUR HANDS - No days of Keane and Jewell - this is is a nice change .. lets enjoy it and until we are out of it - maybe even the old glass half full brigade can get mildly positive .. Love it

Why God why? 15 years I trawled back as I needed to agree a weekend to see XYZ, and never during that time have the legs been spread over consecutive weekends. Goodbye second leg

No doubt itfc are going through a difficult patch. Also agree that this forum is for freedom of speech.
The town fans need to get behind MM and all the players even if they have not been performing to the levels before Christmas.
I'd love see to a 3 at the back with Chambo smith berra.
Midfield of parr Skuse Mings
Bishop and Sears playing behind murf and didz. We'd frighten the daylights out of some teams.
Big 10 games lets get behind the boys

I don't think we will realistically make the top 6 either Jimmy Jazz, but football is a weird game and we are still in it with 10 games remaining. Other teams results may go our way and we may have the odd bit of luck against the teams we face and then bang! all of a sudden we make 6th (never know the teams we play may ship own goals etc).

Miracles can happen. Lets try and stay optimistic.

Anybody got the final date? ;)

In all seriousness, if we pick up 8 point out the next 12 (I know it's a big ask - but it is 2 games at home) then we have a serious chance of finishing high!

We can make the top 2.

The Chamipnship Play-Off Final is the most important Play-Off final, so it's a real shame that it has to be played after the others and not before. With three games on consecutive days that weekend the pitch will be shot to pieces!!

I think stats back up the fact that the side who finish 6th have a good record of going up becos the other three are still recovered from disappointment of missing top two. So if we do get 6th, we could have an advantage even with an away second leg.

A good mixture on here of optimism and pessimism, personally I've always found that an optimistic person is only ever disappointed where as a pessimist is only ever going to be pleased when something goes right.

I do feel we are still certainly in with a shout of top 2 or play offs but our season is in danger of falling apart . It's just fortunate that some of the others above have faltered as well.

Towns entire current campaign seems to have taken a downward cycle since the foray in the FA Cup and we need to turn it around pronto if we are going to be in mix come the end of the season.

Here's hoping for onwards and Upwards!

No deciding leg should be kicking off at 12:15 just to make way for some Premier League match.
