Jonny Parr replaces the injured Jonas Knudsen at left-back in an otherwise unchanged Town side facing Cardiff City this afternoon.

Parr took over from Knudsen early on at Nottingham Forest last week, the Danish international having picked up a hamstring injury. Manager Mick McCarthy has said he expects Knudsen to be fit for Tuesday’s home game against Bolton.

McCarthy has the option of continuing with the 4-3-3 formation he started with at Forest but will probably switch to 4-4-2 with Freddie Sears wide on the right as Cardiff operate in that system.

The Bluebirds make two changes from the team which drew 0-0 at home to Bristol City on Monday with Joe Ralls and Sammy Ameobi replacing the injured Kagisho Dikgacoi and Craig Noone, who drops to the bench.

Suffolk-born former Blues academy schoolboy Stuart O'Keefe is also amongst the Bluebirds subs.

TimmyH added 15:04 - Oct 31 I reckon Knudsen will find it hard to get back into the team now (injuries permitting) - he has struggled a bit. Otherwise a better looking line up other than the question marks over Chambers and Gerkin.
