Parr Replaces Knudsen But Town Otherwise Unchanged Saturday, 31st Oct 2015 14:24 Jonny Parr replaces the injured Jonas Knudsen at left-back in an otherwise unchanged Town side facing Cardiff City this afternoon. Parr took over from Knudsen early on at Nottingham Forest last week, the Danish international having picked up a hamstring injury. Manager Mick McCarthy has said he expects Knudsen to be fit for Tuesday’s home game against Bolton. McCarthy has the option of continuing with the 4-3-3 formation he started with at Forest but will probably switch to 4-4-2 with Freddie Sears wide on the right as Cardiff operate in that system. The Bluebirds make two changes from the team which drew 0-0 at home to Bristol City on Monday with Joe Ralls and Sammy Ameobi replacing the injured Kagisho Dikgacoi and Craig Noone, who drops to the bench. Suffolk-born former Blues academy schoolboy Stuart O'Keefe is also amongst the Bluebirds subs. Town: Gerken, Chambers (c), Parr, Berra, Smith, Skuse, Bru, Maitland-Niles, Sears, McGoldrick, Murphy. Subs: Bialkowski, Malarczyk, Emmanuel, Douglas, Oar, Coke, Pitman. Cardiff: Marshall, Peltier, Morrison, Connolly, Fabio, Ralls, Gunnarsson, Whittingham, Ameobi, Revell, Mason. Subs: Moore, Malone, Tamas, O’Keefe, Pilkington, Noone, Kennedy. Referee: David Coote (Nottinghamshire).
