Sunday, 6th Dec 2015 16:52

Town will be ball number 20 in Monday evening’s draw for the third round of the FA Cup (BBC2 7pm).

The draw, which sees Premier League and Championship clubs enter the competition, takes place at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff. Third round ties will be played between Friday 8th and Sunday 11th January.

Meanwhile, Blues winger Cameron Stewart came on as a half-time sub as his loan side Doncaster Rovers secured their place in the hat by beating Cambridge United 3-1 in the second round at the Abbey Stadium this afternoon.

James Alabi’s loan club Grimsby Town are in second round action on Monday evening when they take on Shrewsbury at Blundell Park (BT Sport 2, 7pm, KO 7.45pm).

This is probably the only time that McCarthy will rest his favourites;so fringe players will probably get a chance as they did in the League Cup.

I'd like Wycombe, as my in-laws have been season ticket holders there for 20+ years. Might not be a glamour tie but I'd enjoy that!

Let's face it though, MM isn't really a cup lover. He gets paid for league performance so that a little sad for us fans
