Town Unchanged Again
Tuesday, 15th Dec 2015 19:18

Town boss Mick McCarthy has named an unchanged side for the fourth successive game ahead of this evening’s match at Fulham. The Blues are out to win four games on the trot away from home for the first time in more than 11 years.

Kevin Bru and Tommy Oar return to the bench but David McGoldrick drops out due to injury. Jay Tabb also misses out on a place in the 18. For Fulham, former Blues loanee Richard Stearman starts.

Fulham: Lonergan, Richards, Stearman, Burn, Ream, Garbutt, Kacaniklic, Cairney, O’Hara, McCormack (c), Dembele. Subs: Lewis, Hutchinson, Fredericks, Smith, Woodrow, Pringle, Hyndman.

Town: Gerken, Knudsen, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Maitland-Niles, Skuse, Murphy, Pitman, Sears, Douglas. Subs: Bialkowski, Parr, Fraser, Oar, Coke, Bru, Malarczyk. Referee: Trevor Kettle (Rutland).

Shame about McGoldrick. Leaves as short of strikers with a Sears being used as a winger.

Wow. Is McGoldrick ever going to be fully fit and match sharp again? Such a shame for such a talented player.

Fulham have gone 532 - guessing they wanted extra help on set pieces and worried about our front 3.

Should've cashed in on McGoldrick when we had the chance.

Hopefully Frazer and Bru can see a bit of action tonight - not sure if I want to see Douglas start EVERY game.

........ said it before - McGoldrick is the proverbial sick note - for whatever reason.

Will always see more of the Treatment Room than the Turf - shame, because he has what we need in terms of creativity at least.

If ever there was a player we should have cashed in on - it's him. Not such an attractive proposition to anyone these days.
