Town are holding a ticket promotion at the home game against Rotherham United on Saturday (KO 3pm).

Season ticket holders can purchase up to four additional tickets at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £3 for under-16s.

Silver members can buy their first ticket priced at £20 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for under-16s and then up to four further tickets at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £3 for under-16s.

Tickets can be purchased online online from ITFC Direct or in Planet Blue before 1.30pm on the day of the match.

Currie10 added 20:44 - Mar 17 People go on about price being a massive factor for low gates at Portman Road. This game is £10 a ticket for a lot of people who will know a season ticket holder - going by the seat map it appears we've shifted very few - for a key game, 9 to play. I really feel cost has so little impact for the casual fan. Unless we get 24,000 / 25,000 for this which it appears we won't, it's not going to encourage the club to do these more regularly or lower the price. This is exactly the type of game if people do go out in force they may think.

HackneyBlue added 05:45 - Mar 18 after the Preston match which was a promotion those that went will not return as that was a shocking experience of poor,negative football,my friends had my 3 tickets and all went at half time and vowed not to return until the football improved,needless to say i have not managed to shift my 3 tickets

RegencyBlue added 08:43 - Mar 18 HackneyBlue. This is exactly it. I have got plenty of people into Portman Road on these tickets recently and to a man they have vowed not to come back! Price is an important factor in attendances and the idea behind these promotions is good but its no secret the quality of football at PR at the moment is very poor and this hurts us as well.
