Osman Blogs on His Best Team-Mates Tuesday, 5th Apr 2016 16:24 Blues legend Russell Osman assesses the best holding midfielders he played alongside during his career in the latest instalment of his recently launched blog. Russell told TWTD why he began writing the blog: “I started doing it as a way of getting a few memories down in some sort of order, just I case I decide to do a book one day! “My father kept a lot of programmes, newspaper cuttings and photos so it is a good way to share some of the personal memorabilia, in respect to my late father, as well as opinions on other football matters. “I have also done pieces on golf and life in general, there always seems so much to talk about. “I have recently been doing a mini-series of the best players that I played with in their respective positions.” Having covered his partners in central defence, goalkeepers and full-backs, he has now moved on to holding midfielders and the man he views as the best he played alongside will come as no surprise to Town fans. In addition to the blog Russell, 57, has also entered the world of after dinner speaking with full details on his website. The 11-times capped former England defender is appearing at an event staged by the South-West Branch of the Supporters Club in Bristol on April 15th.
