U23s in Action at King's Lynn
Wednesday, 26th Jul 2017 10:03

The Blues’ U23s are in friendly action against King’s Lynn Town at The Walks this evening (KO 7.30pm).

The Linnets, who play in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division, are managed by former Norwich full-back Ian Culverhouse.

Town’s U23s, who are coached by Gerard Nash (pictured), began their pre-season programme with a 0-0 draw away at Felixstowe and Walton, then lost 3-1 at AFC Sudbury before winning 2-1 at Coggeshall.

It should be noted that tonight's kick-off time is now 15 minutes earlier than initially advertised.

King's Lynn-4 Town U23-3. Couple of crackers from Monty Patterson and a tap in for Albert Wilton puts Town 3-2 up but late goals after poor defending see's the Linnets snatch it! Andre Dozell played first half.

Michael Crowe was great today. Bit of a shaky defense but impressed by Crowe and Patterson. Dozzell seemed a bit lethargic. Think Month Patterson should have a shot at a bench place in the first team. Good situational awareness and scored a decent free kick tonight. Best outfield player for sure.
