Webber Signs First Pro Deal Thursday, 28th Sep 2017 16:13 Young defender Pat Webber has signed his first professional deal with the Blues, a contract which runs to the summer of 2019 with the club having an option for a further season. Webber, who joined the academy from non-league Worthing in the summer of 2016 after a trial, plays at either left-back or centre-half and made his only senior appearance so far in the Carabao Cup tie at Crystal Palace. The 18-year-old is the son of Damian Webber, who played for Town boss Mick McCarthy at Millwall. ![]() Yesterday, fellow defender Luke Woolfenden extended his Town contract, also putting pen to paper on a deal which runs to the summer of 2019 with the club having an option for a further year.
