Win Tickets to Dean Saunders Sporting Dinner Tuesday, 3rd Oct 2017 11:18 TWTD readers have the chance to win four pairs of tickets to a sporting dinner featuring much-travelled former Wales international striker and manager Dean Saunders at Greshams in Tuddenham Road on Thursday 12th October (7pm).
In addition to Saunders speaking about his career, the evening includes a two-course meal, a comedian, a guest and an auction.
To win one of the pairs of tickets, tell us in an email sent to competition@twtd.co.uk arriving before midnight on Thursday which team managed by Saunders Town beat 3-2 away on the final day of the 2011/12 season. The winners will be selected at random from the correct answers.
If you don’t want to wait to see whether you win the competition, a single ticket costs £30, while a table of 10 is £250. To reserve or purchase tickets, call 01473 250816.

He can tell the pal of chipping Clive Baker from near enough the half-way line (or was it the M6?)

Still haven't forgiven him for falling over in the FA Cup reply and then Jan Molby scored

Great goal against us all those years ago - Big Gaz, I think you're right - he chipped Baker from somewhere near Spaghetti Junction. Other than that I found him quite objectionable as a player. Have heard him co-commentate on 5 Live in the past and comes across to me as a bit of a numpty, so if it's all the same to you, I'll choose my dinner companions more carefully.

Sounds awful. Speaking isn't Saunders' forte.

PYBlue Was that at Anfield 91/92? If so I remember that, they went on to win 3-2 in extra time, properly robbed, we were 2-1 up. Great atmosphere though.
