Monday, 19th Mar 2018 12:36

Town midfielder Kevin Bru is in the Mauritius squad for friendlies against Macau and Mongolia during the international break.

The Mauritians, who Bru has recently captained, play against Macau in Taipa on Thursday and then face Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar, the first international friendly to be staged by the hosts, on Tuesday 27th March.

Paris-born Bru, who qualifies for Mauritius via his parents, has previously won 13 caps and has scored one international goal.

The 29-year-old is set to leave the Blues when his contract is up at the end of the season.

Crikey Outer Mongolia and Macau, should knock up a lot of Airmiles if nothing else.

He is still at Ipswich, and the only attacking midfield player we have who is fit;but rarely plays.Personally don't think he is that bad.

Seasider, I agree
Certainly has more attacking flare than Skuse, Hyam and Gleeson put together, but unfortunately that is not enough to hold on for a point home and away.

One of our players possibly playing in that soccer hotpot that is Mongolia ( they're 3rd favourite sport behind bear wrestling and goat skinning) and another playing for the Gibraltan under 21's!

Let the good times roll people.....
