Skipper Bru Hits Winner for Mauritius Thursday, 22nd Mar 2018 17:23 Blues midfielder Kevin Bru scored the winning goal as he captained Mauritius to a 1-0 friendly victory over Macau in Taipa earlier this afternoon. The 29-year-old struck his second international goal in the 18th minute to give Les Dodos the win. Mauritius are next in action against Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday, the first international friendly to be staged by the hosts. Paris-born Bru, who qualifies for Mauritius via his parents, was winning his 14th full international cap. Meanwhile, Blues keeper Michael Crowe was an unused sub as Wales thrashed the hosts 6-0 at the China Cup in Nanning this morning. Gareth Bale hit a hat-trick to become the all-time top scorer for the Welsh, Sam Vokes added two more and Harry Wilson was also on target in Ryan Giggs’s first game in charge. Wales next face the winner of Friday’s game between Uruguay and the Czech Republic on Monday.
