Rowe Returns to Town and Set for Surgery
Thursday, 26th Apr 2018 20:32

Blues winger Danny Rowe’s season has come to an early end after he picked up an ankle ligament injury which requires surgery while on loan at Lincoln City.

The 26-year-old, who has returned to Town, joined the Imps on a half-season spell in January and made 13 starts and three sub appearances, scoring two goals for the League Two club. While at Sincil Bank he picked up a Checkatrade Trophy winner’s medal.

The former Macclesfield man is contracted to the Blues until the summer of 2020 with an option for a further season.

From the few appearances he made he looked a decent player. Hopefully he might get more of a chance under a new manager. After Mick played him, someone pressed his nose in for fifteen seconds, restored him to factory settings, and he kept picking Sears every week again.

Well, at least we can't blame Town's physios or training for this one!
Will be interested to see if the new manager gives Rowe more of a chance. I thought he looked half decent in his fleeting appearances.

I have to agree with MM on Rowe. At that level and especially as he's not a kid, if he's not ripping it up, I don't see him being capable of being significant at championship level. Pity he's injured as it may stop us from selling him as easily.

Oh no another one who at least will feel at home here with all the other sicknotes

Next capital project, enlarge treatment room, then sort the pitch out.

Hope he will be given a bit more time under new manager before he is farmed out,as don't think he got it under Mick

Looked a fair player, with the little time given.
But we must understand going forward.
This is as good as it gets with regards to the quality of player we can afford to bring in.
