Fans' EACH Appeal Total at Almost £2,300 Wednesday, 25th Jul 2018 16:19 Nearly £2,300 has now been donated to East Anglia's Children’s Hospices (EACH) by Town fans celebrating Bartosz Bialkowski remaining with the Blues and signing a new contract. Richard Hibbert, managing director of KSL Sudbury, started the campaign to bring Town fans together to raise money for EACH. He is encouraging his fellow Blues to donate as little as £1 each which could raise over £10,000 for the charity which cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across East Anglia. Richard and fan and sponsor Damian Anderson are each donating one directors’ box ticket for a game. The first ticket will be given to the person that makes the greatest contribution, the second will be selected in a prize draw. KSL has also pledged that once over £2,500 has been raised a signed 2018/19 Ipswich shirt will be given to an individual selected in a second prize draw. At the time of writing the total stands at £2,295.76. “When I saw that Bart may sign a new contract and knowing the past year hasn’t been an enjoyable one for Town fans I tweeted a message saying if Bart signs why don’t us Town fans get together and raise money for EACH to see what we can achieve,” Richard told TWTD. “I got quite a few texts, tweets and emails and so I started a Just Giving page just in case. Obviously Bart signed and the club among others messaged me to get donating. “I launched the page and offered one of my directors’ box tickets for a game. Damian Anderson also quickly offered to get involved and offer a directors’ box ticket too. ![]() “So far in around a week we have raised close to £2,300 but I think it would be great if we could reach other fans. I have offered a signed 2018/19 shirt if we hit £2,500 which we are close to doing. “I think this is an amazing opportunity for Town fans to get together and raise money for such an amazing cause.”
