Knudsen Could Win Cap Saturday, 13th Oct 2018 09:35 Blues left-back Jonas Knudsen could win his fifth full cap this evening when Denmark face the Republic of Ireland in a UEFA Nations League tie in Dublin (Sky Sports Football, from 7pm).
Knudsen, 26, is likely to be among the subs as the Danes look to build on last month’s 2-0 victory over Wales in their opening fixture in the competition.
Ireland host Wales, with Town’s Gwion Edwards having been added to their squad yesterday morning, on Tuesday.

An intelligent thinking man of excellent character & with terrific instincts ; we should plainly value him much more highly at ITFC .Just , perhaps , some of the occasional critism might result from mistakes in front , or around him especially with an attempt to introduce a good few newcomers and experiment , in a difficult league , with a different approach ! Good luck , Jonas ,show them what you're made of ! Up the Town .

I am pleased for Jonas as he certainly wears his heart on his sleeve. I agree with Suffolkboy about others making mistakes in front of him but sadly Jonas makes the wrong decisions too often as well to be regarded as a quality defender. He likes going forward but gets caught upfield a lot which then produces problems for the remaining defenders.
